The rigorous boot camp curriculum is delivered through high-quality coursework and live, online classes led by instructors who are fully vetted by the university. All instructors are assessed for not only their experience in the field, but also their ability to successfully communicate software development concepts to learners in an online environment. Instructors deliver a quality, up-to-date curriculum and offer one-on-one guidance throughout the program.
The curriculum is designed to equip you with specialized skills that can prepare you for the next step in your career as a software developer. Boost your portfolio and stand out from the competition with AI coding tools, object-oriented programming, and Python and Typescript fundamentals.
Work with servers, databases, and other back-end technologies, such as SQL databases, prompt engineering and Node.js.
Portfolio project: Engineer your first full stack application.
Develop a set of specialized skills using NoSQL databases, create full-stack applications using React and learn computer science fundamentals like object-oriented programming, demonstrated with Python.
Portfolio project: Create a MERN stack single-page application.
By the time you complete the boot camp, you will have mastered in-demand skills, built an impressive portfolio of software development projects and earned a valuable Professional Certificate from ASU Learning Enterprise.

edX, part of 2U Inc., works with respected universities and organizations to deliver innovative, skills-based training to a community of over 45 million learners around the world to support them at every stage of their lives and careers. edX delivers boot camps through an immersive learning experience with expert services and valuable resources. As of 2021, graduates have been hired by 6,700+ companies, including more than 62% of the Fortune 100.
This boot camp, offered in partnership with edX, is made available through a unique consortium delivery model to provide skills-based learning to participants across Arizona and beyond. Participants will be taught by a university-approved instructor, while learning alongside learners from other consortium-participating universities and institutions. Upon meeting the completion requirements, participants will be issued a certificate by ASU Learning Enterprise.
